“The Progression” is my reimagining of Norman Rockwell’s iconic “The Runaway,” created in 2023 for the NESPAC Women in Law Enforcement Conference and celebrating the strength, mentorship and legacy of women in law enforcement. A copy of the original illustration is proudly displayed in the Massachusetts State Police Museum.
Each custom piece is thoughtfully illustrated to reflect the uniform, colors and spirit of the state of your choice. You may personalize the little girl, officer and third female figure, along with meaningful small details that make the portrait uniquely yours. I also curate the café or diner setting based on the chosen state, creating a distinct atmosphere and aesthetic for every illustration.
